How to come up with article ideas fast? This is in the top ten most asked questions I receive across my desk and it’s one that has a million answers. A million? Yes, because everyone has there own style in how to come up with article ideas.

I have written about quite a few on this site and will continue to post on it but I also like to take a look at article marketing tips from other experts and bring them to you. You should be keeping a swipe file of tips on coming up with article ideas and tuck them away somewhere on your computer.

What’s my favorite tip for generating ideas? I love to look at article titles posted at article directories, news blogs, shopping blogs…just about anywhere. I also like to use Google Alerts and all I need is a title. Once I see something I like I’m good to go.

Okay, many of you need to do more like read the article as well but that’s okay; do this enough times and it will come naturally, trust me. Generally, you pick the niche you want to write the article on and then look for a title in that niche. You could also read the article and pick out the main points and then rewrite them yourself.

Even better, do a summary of the author’s article and add your own thoughts. Now that is a way of getting interest in your blog. People love to read opinion pieces and if you have one, that’s great. But don’t go criticizing someone’s article; just add to it in your own thoughts. Make sense?
